As a Clinical Psychologist I provide diagnostic evaluations and individual psychotherapy services to adults and teens.
I typically work with adults with ADHD, anxiety, and/or depression to improve symptoms, manage stress, build self-understanding and self-worth, navigate life challenges, process difficult experiences, and develop effective coping skills.
When working with adolescents, concerns commonly supported include behavioral and emotional challenges, attention deficits, learning disabilities, self-esteem, anxiety, challenges in school, and motivation problems.
I also specialize in Persian/Iranian-American cultural issues and work closely with immigrant families from a range of backgrounds.
My training has been in a broad range of approaches and draws on a number of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based therapies. My approach to clients is to individualize treatment programs in order to accommodate optimally the needs of the individuals involved.
I welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I am authorized to serve clients virtually in all PSYPACT states.
